HUMAN RIGHTS SUSTAINABILITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICIES

At Sura Concept Hotel, we are committed to fully respecting human rights and actively working to protect them. We remain steadfast in adhering to our human rights sustainability policy, which is based on the principles outlined below.

Human Rights

  • We ensure fair and equal employment practices for all our employees. We prevent all forms of discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.
  • We respect the rights of our employees, honor their rights to unionize, and implement occupational safety standards. We support fair wages, appropriate working hours, and access to social rights.
  • We respect the privacy of our guests and protect their personal data securely. We regularly update and improve our information security measures.
  • We show respect and sensitivity to the culture, values, and needs of the local communities in which we operate. We aim to collaborate with and contribute to the development of these communities.
  • We promote respect for human rights and fair labor practices throughout our supply chain. We expect our suppliers to adopt and uphold these values and work in collaboration with them in this regard.
  • We educate and raise awareness among our employees about human rights. We conduct ongoing training programs to enhance compliance and awareness of human rights issues.

Children’s Rights

Children are entrusted to us as the future of our world. Recognizing them as individuals, respecting their rights, and protecting them from all forms of psychological, physical, commercial, or other exploitation is our foremost responsibility.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines child abuse as follows:
“All forms of behavior, whether intentional or unintentional, by an adult, society, or the state, that adversely affect a child’s health or physical and psychosocial development, constitute child maltreatment.”

To ensure this:

  • We do not allow child labor in any of our establishments and expect the same sensitivity from all our business partners.
  • We organize training sessions and support relevant projects to raise awareness about the protection of children’s rights.
  • If we witness any suspicious actions involving children, we immediately inform hotel management and, when necessary, seek assistance from official authorities.

As part of our policy, we kindly ask our valued guests and employees to:

  • Not leave children under the age of 12 alone in the hotel room,
  • Not entrust your children to strangers or leave the hotel premises while your children are under their care,
  • Not allow children under the age of 18 to consume alcohol,
  • Respect the rights of children at all times,
  • Refrain from any behavior that may be considered child neglect or abuse,
  • Report any person engaging in actions contrary to children’s rights and protection to hotel management immediately.

In accordance with the reports received, hotel management will inform law enforcement authorities, and necessary legal procedures will be initiated.
According to national and international laws, child abuse is a criminal offense and is subject to legal sanctions, including imprisonment.

Women’s Rights and Gender Equality

At our company, we recognize that human rights encompass all individuals equally, regardless of gender, and that “equal pay for equal work” is a fundamental principle.
We act in line with the right of women to work, to receive equal education, and to be insured.
Women’s rights are rights that represent equality and freedom. The most fundamental right of women is to live freely and to have equal rights alongside men.
Every woman has the right to express her thoughts and opinions freely.

We are always aware that these rights are fundamental for every woman working within our organization, and we actively support their presence and empowerment in the workplace.

  • Women themselves are the primary defenders of their own rights, and in order to do so, they must be aware of those rights. In this regard, we develop training policies to support women’s participation and raise awareness.
  • Women and men have equal rights. Our institution acknowledges its responsibility to ensure this equality is implemented in practice and supports women’s participation in the workforce across all departments.
  • We do not allow any obstacles that may prevent women within our company from accessing or utilizing opportunities, resources, and services.
  • We assign duties based on the principle of equality.
  • We create a working environment and implement practices that support the balance between work and family life.
  • We provide the necessary support and offer opportunities to ensure women are represented in company management.
  • We do not tolerate any form of exploitation, harassment, discrimination, coercion, or defamation against women. We are fully aware of our duty to stand by women in protecting their rights and in preventing violence against women. Our company integrates this awareness into all of its strategic plans to ensure gender equality is fully realized.
